If you’re hurting in your relationship and your partner is unwilling to join you in seeking help, it is important that you seek assistance for yourself. Your relationship can be turned around and made loving and satisfying even if your partner does not join you in therapy. You will gain insights and learn the art of relating to your mate in such a way that you both will become nurturers of each other.
Appointments
Each session is typically one hour long and your first appointment can usually be scheduled within forty-eight hours. Appointment times are available in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Fees
Fees for services are negotiated at the end of the first session and are based on time spent in session and your financial resources. Our fees are covered by some insurances.
Frequency and Duration of Therapy
An assessment is made during the first session to determine the frequency and duration of therapy.
Cancellation Policy
Except for emergencies, cancellation of appointments should be made at least twenty-four hours in advance. In such instances, there is no fee for your cancelled session.
Counsellors
Presently, the ORLEANS CENTRE FOR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY is served by a team of a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Social Worker, and a Registered Psychologist.
